I just noticed I have not blogged since October. Sorry about that. I finally had some time to sit down and write a few words to let you know what has been going on. A lot has happened since I last blogged… the holidays, the New Year and we have a new President! Stayed home for the holidays, which was really nice since I am always on the road with the show. Recently, the carpenter and designer from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was in Houston to talk about his battle with high cholesterol, which can lead to plaque buildup in arteries as well as heart disease or stroke. Tonight airs the 2nd build of the season. I believe it is one of the best rooms I have ever done, of course with a lot of help. I had the good fortune to work with a great muralist – her name is Andrea Frangiosa. Andrea and her team helped me make my room come to life. Start of a New Season

Who would of ever thought that we would be having a 6th season. We are under new direction this year and I am very excited to get started. For the last two years our goal was to build one home in each of the fifty states. This year we will build homes for heroes. All different types of heroes. We begin our 6th season in Poolesville, Maryland. A great little town about 40 miles north of Washington D.C. Well, Season 5 of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has come to an end. It was a fantastic year. The good news is that there will be a season 6. The last show of the season took us to Louisiana. We were very lucky to have 17 of our wonderful builders from all over the country come down to Louisiana to make what we set out to do happen. The main builder was Deltec Home.
