PASADENA, Calif. — Paul DiMeo, who attended Point Park University (then Point Park College) from 1977-79 and worked as a stage manager at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, is one of the stars of National Geographic Channel’s “Building Wild” (9 p.m. Tuesday). City slicker DiMeo, best known as the designer with black glasses who was prone to crying on ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” partnered with woodsman/fabricator Pat “Tuffy” Bakaitis on a construction business called Cabin Kings. Sugar & Stilellos Bake Sale Raises More Than $13K for Westside Hunger Organizations

Thousands of meals and groceries will be provided to Westside women and children suffering from hunger and food insecurity thanks to the generosity of Sugar & Stilettos participants. Motivated by the mission “spreading sweet inspiration one treat at a time,” the third annual Sugar & Stilettos Bake Sale Extravaganza exceeded its goal by raising more than $13,000 on May 18 to benefit the Westside Food Bank and St. Joseph Center’s Food Pantry.
